Why is there ten muscles? The ten muscles is because democracy is a balance. We are not good at everything, of course. I can be strong at something that you are not that strong at, and the other way around.
The ten muscles shows that it's not only verbal self -confidence, opinion, disagreement, activism that is valuable in democracy. It's also the active listening, the empathy, the curiosity and the courage that you need to actually involve yourself in a democracy.
