Vagn Kristensen from Denmark shares how Democracy Fitness inspired a library to train democratic skills with young people and the local community.

My name is Vagn and I'm from the library of Uthbo in the south of Jutland.
I'm here because we had a democracy fitness trainer visiting us at a community eating and we have never heard about it but it was that the citizens loved it so much that they asked if we could do more and instead of always let them come to us then we could be trainers ourselves.
So we did. I think I take home a course, a mobilization, to do something for both young people but also for the users of our library to make sure that it's okay to have an opinion, it's okay to discuss democracy and we can do it in different ways and we can train our muscles.
