The Heinrich Böll Foundation NRW is a hub for green ideas and political and cultural education, based in the german state Northrine-Westphalia. We primarily organise events in the fields of democracy, climate and diversity. We are a legally and organisationally independent regional foundation within the green-leaning network of Heinrich Böll Foundations in Germany, and we organise around 100 political education and professional development initiatives each year: seminars, conferences, meetings, expert discussions and educational trips.

Since 2024, we have focused on experience-based democracy education and have been offering both Df-trainings and DF-camps primarily for the citizens of NRW.
